FOI responses from 100 UK universities showing hardship fund applications, grants, and values across 5 academic years.
Universities were sent a FOI request asking them to provide data for each academic semester/term since August 2020, broken down semester by semester. The data requested was: the number of applications received to the University hardship fund(s), number of applications granted (awards made), total £ value granted (sum of awards paid). We requested the data was split by UK students and international students.
